Â鶹´«Ã½ (Â鶹´«Ã½) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Nina Hanan as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Ms. Hanan will assume her new role beginning June 1st from Â鶹´«Ã½’s New York City headquarters.

Dr. Hanan will be joining Â鶹´«Ã½ after several years as the Chief Development Officer with Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF). She brings a distinguished career of over 25 years as a nonprofit executive and management professional, and a strategic and innovative thinker with a successful track record serving the Jewish community. Prior to joining FIDF in 2015, she was the Chief Development Officer at the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).

I look forward to expanding its renown across America, and to supporting life-altering research at the university that impacts Israel and the world.

Dr. Hanan grew up in Israel and holds a BA from City College of New York and a Ph.D. in Political Science from the Graduate School and University Center at the City University of New York. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Women in Development (WID) and served as co-chair of WID’s President’s Council.
